I have been on a lot of cool adventures through out this great state. But, one thing I have always wanted to try is snowmobiling. My parents had some before I was born and always talked about the adventures they had. One time my dad was barreling across Houghton lake and he came across open water. He had no time to stop or he would have sunk. He lifted back and said a prayer as he shot across the open water on the snowmobile.
Usually I am steelhead fishing all winter long. With the horrible winter temps and an invite to go snowmobiling, I could not pass it up. Here is our trip in a nutshell:
A big “Thank You” goes out to Calvin and his family for letting me use their snowmobiles. If we have another hard winter, I know I will be headed into the woods in the pow on a snowmobile.
